JM! Thankyou so much. I really appreciate it. helps me to see what works. Meanwhile, I didn't do great with the not smoking thing at Unlit...thought that tide of excitement would see me through but it didn't. However then yesterday, with the thought in my mind I would stop this morning, yesterday evening walking from my friend's car to my front door with "my last cigarette" in my left hand, a drop of rain, a single drop of rainwater (or an angel) - and it wasn't raining - knocked my cigarette out of my hand. Enough is enough. Divine intervention! xxx

Hi Jont, I sooooo enjoyed every line of your last blog. I felt so much openness and truthfulness in what you wrote. You are truly a beautiful man, so creative, bold, funny and entertaining. Keep smiling!

chelley! so nice to hear from you. I get very few comments, so one like this, just as i wake up after an incredible evening at Georgie and Howie's putting on Unlit, to feel that my little epiphany i put out there has been read and appreciated by someone I have never met - it's a really important and special feeling. Thankyou. Brisbane....hmm,
well you could always organise an Unlit - this travelling celebration of generosity and openness I put on in people's houses around the world - or I could come and do a solo show up there in someone's house while i'm still in the country....if you and some friends can get 50 or so people together who'd want to do it, and it paid for itself, I'd be up for doing that....but just to add, i too very rarely read blogs, and have only just started this, have no idea whether its the right sort of thing to write, whether its too much, too long, too often etc....so its nice to have your feedback. see ya x jont

Hi Jont

Wow what a beautiful thing to read. I just wanted to have a look at your website because I was trying to find out some more about you - I have only two of your songs: "Sweetheart" and " actually I don't know the name of the other one, but it is going around in my head and it is really lovely! But it's a great song and I just want to keep listening to it. I thought I would get on the computer and buy an album, then I got stuck reading this blog - something I wouldn't normally do ... so I was just skimming over it but I kept getting drawn back in because it was so lovely. I'm really looking forward to listening to more of your songs and finding out more about you. I'm in Brisbane so am hoping to find out that you will be playing here soon! I just couldn't help but post a comment as it is very rare that I would actually get all the way through someone's blog to the part where you get an opportunity to post a comment. Anyway I had better get on and buy this album - hope to see you play soon!
